Senior and Disabled Citizen Discounts


Effective April 1, 2007, senior citizens and disabled citizens who meet the eligibility requirements of the “Pharmaceutical Assistance for the Aged and Disabled” program (“PAAD”) pursuant to P.L. 1975, c. 194 (C.30:4D-20 et seq) will be eligible for a 10% discount on the Limited Basic portion of their video service.

As of January 1, 2007, maximum income limits are less than $22,572 if single; less than $27,676 joint income, if married. Other eligibility requirements apply. To receive this discount from Comcast of New Jersey, customers must present proof of eligibility and fill out an application. Click here to download a copy of the Comcast discount application. You may also visit any Comcast payment office or call 1-877-654-5075 to obtain an application.

Once the application is complete you may return it to your local Comcast payment center or mail it to:

*The change affects all Comcast Cable systems in New Jersey except Comcast of Central New Jersey, Comcast of South Jersey (Vineland/Pleasantville), Comcast of Maple Shade, Comcast of Northwest New Jersey, Comcast of New Jersey (Toms River), Comcast of Gloucester County, Comcast of Burlington County, Comcast of Ocean County, Comcast of Mercer County, and Comcast customers in the City of East Orange. Customers in these systems or city will continue to be eligible for a PAAD discount under existing terms. In Comcast of Jersey City, the PAAD discount will be 10% of the Basic Service level of the bill.
