Effective Saturday, August 25, 2007, Comcast will bring you an exciting, new lineup! We will also realign many of the channels for easier viewing. Many of your favorite cable channels will move to new locations, grouped by category – news, sports, kids, education and more!

Stafford County customers will now have access to over 250 digital channels, including more than 50 new channels that will be added as a result of the changes. High-Definition television owners will enjoy new channels like National Geographic HD, A&E HD, Comcast SportsNet HD, MHD, Universal HD, WDCW-HD and WDCA-HD. Sports fans will love our new Sports Entertainment Package featuring new channels like NFL Network, College Sports TV, GOL TV, HRTV and NBA TV.

While more than 130 channels will move to new locations, the following channels will be added to/removed from your lineup or will change service level:
 - EWTN will move from ch. 73 on Expanded Basic to ch. 65 on Limited Basic.
 - American Life TV on ch. 110 on Digital Classic will no longer be carried.
 - AMC* will move from ch. 71 on Expanded Basic to ch. 138 on Expanded Basic.
 - CMT will move from ch. 46 on Expanded Basic to ch. 146 on Digital Classic.
 - Court TV will move from ch. 74 on Expanded Basic to ch. 187 on Digital Classic.
 - Hallmark will move from ch. 28 on Expanded Basic to ch. 137 on Digital Classic.
 - INSP will move from ch. 30 on Expanded Basic to ch. 295 on Digital Classic.
 - TV Guide Channel* will move from ch. 1 on Limited Basic to ch. 100 on Limited Basic.
 *(Customers will need a digital converter to view these channels.)

The following channels will move from Digital Classic to Digital Plus:
 - BBC America will move from ch. 109 to ch. 114.
 - i-Life TV will move from ch. 113 to ch. 292.
 - MTV Hits will move from ch. 160 to ch. 139.
 - DIY will move from ch. 133 to ch. 121.
 - LMN will move from ch. 163 to ch. 119.
 - MTV Jams will move from ch. 139 to ch. 142.
 - Discovery Home will move from ch. 103 to ch. 113.
 - Discovery Times will move from ch. 104 to ch. 111.
 - Logo will move from ch. 166 to ch. 163.
 - Nick 2 will move from ch. 153 to ch. 132.
 - Military Channel will move from ch. 106 to ch. 112.
 - Pure Country will move from ch. 143 to ch. 145.

The following channels will move from Digital Plus to the new Sports Entertainment Package:
 - Fox College Sports – Atlantic will move from ch. 171 to ch. 262.
 - Fox College Sports – Central will move from ch. 172 to ch. 263.
 - Fox College Sports – Pacific will move from ch. 173 to ch. 264.
 - NFL Network will move from ch. 178 to ch. 180.
 - College Sports TV will move from ch. 174 to ch. 274.
 - Sportsman Channel will move from ch. 176 to ch. 278.
 - Outdoor Channel will move from ch. 127 to ch. 270.

The changes don’t stop there. Digital Classic customers will enjoy new channels such as Encore, MoviePlex, NBA Preview, Comcast ON DEMAND Previews, C-SPAN3, PBS Kids Sprout, Jewelry TV and TV One.
Digital Plus customers will enjoy channels such as Fine Living, IndiePlex, RetroPlex and Encore-themed channels: Love Stories, Westerns, Mysteries, Drama, Action and WAM. These new channels will be added at no additional cost!
