David N. Watson Executive Vice President, Operations Comcast Cable |
Dave Watson is Comcast Cable’s Executive Vice President of Operations where his responsibilities include sales, marketing, Comcast High-Speed Internet, Comcast Digital Voice®, as well as oversight of the Company’s five operating divisions and Comcast Spotlight, the Company’s advertising sales unit.
A veteran of the communications industry, Mr. Watson has served in leadership roles for the nation’s top communications services providers. Before joining Comcast Cable, he served for seven years with Comcast Cellular Communications, Inc., first as Senior Vice President of sales and marketing and later as President. As President of Comcast Cellular, Mr. Watson headed the unit’s operations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and parts of Maryland before administering the sale of the division to SBC Communications. Previously, Mr. Watson headed sales and marketing efforts at Bell Atlantic Mobile and Metrophone.
Mr. Watson serves on the Board of Directors for the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM), the Partnership for a Drug Free America and the Education Committee of the Police Athletic League of Philadelphia.
Watson is the recipient of the 2006 Vanguard Award, for his work in marketing.
A graduate of the University of Richmond, he holds a BA in political science. Mr. Watson resides with his family in Rosemont, Pennsylvania.
