Biography

David A. Scott Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer Comcast Cable

Dave Scott serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for the Company’s financial planning, accounting, procurement, and executive project management organization (EPMO); as well as oversight for the legal group.

Mr. Scott served as President of Comcast’s Former Midwest Division from 1999 to 2005, leading operations serving approximately four million cable customers.  Under his leadership, the Midwest Division integrated 2.4 million former AT&T Broadband customers in Greater Chicago, the Twin Cities, Michigan, and Indiana.

He joined Comcast in 1993 as Regional Vice President of Comcast’s Southeast Region after extensive roles in finance and operations with two other communication companies, and in 1996 set up what is now the Southern Division for Comcast based in Atlanta.

Mr. Scott holds a BBA in Accounting from Cleveland State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.  He currently serves on the Board of the Comcast Foundation, Conditional Access Licensing (CAL) and has been a past Board Member of Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Southeastern Pennsylvania, Focus Hope and Cranbrook Science Institute in Detroit area. 

Dave is married with 5 children.
