David A. Scott Executive Vice President, Finance and Administration Comcast Cable |
Dave Scott serves as Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration for Comcast Cable, where he is responsible for overseeing all of the company’s financial planning, accounting, information technology, procurement and legal, as well as joint responsibility for human resources. In this role, Scott has been heavily involved with the launch of Comcast Digital Voice, the Digital Video acceleration, and the integration of approximately 4.5 million new customers through 6 different acquisitions.
Mr. Scott served as President of Comcast’s Midwest Division from 1999 to 2005, leading operations serving approximately four million cable customers. Under his leadership, the Midwest Division integrated 2.4 million former AT&T Broadband customers in Greater Chicago; the Twin Cities; Grand Rapids and Lansing, MI; and South Bend, IN.
He joined Comcast in 1993 as Regional Senior Vice President of Comcast’s Southeast Region after extensive roles in finance with other communications companies, and set up what is now the Southern Division for Comcast in Atlanta.
Mr. Scott holds a BBA in Accounting from Cleveland State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He serves on the Board of the Big Brothers and Big Sisters. He resides in Gladwyne, Pennsylvania with his family.
