Michael I. Sovern

Michael I. Sovern, 79, has served as a Director Emeritus since May 2011 and had served as a director from November 2002 until May 2011. Mr. Sovern is Chairman of Sotheby’s. He is also President Emeritus and Chancellor Kent Professor of Law at Columbia University where he served as President for 13 years. He is President and a director of The Shubert Foundation and a director of The Shubert Organization. He is also a director of Sotheby’s.  Within the past five years, Mr. Sovern was a director of Sequa Corp. until December 2007.
