Comcast Cares Day

Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your community.

Every year on Comcast Cares Day, we bring together tens of thousands of Comcast employees, their families and friends to make a positive impact in neighborhoods across the country. And our 10th annual Comcast Cares Day was no exception.

On April 30, 2011, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of Comcast Cares Day, which has since grown to become one of the largest single-day corporate volunteer efforts in the country.

Along the way, we have partnered with great organizations such as National Urban League, NCLR, City Year, United Way, Boys & Girls Clubs, Big Brothers Big Sisters and more.

This past year our efforts included, nearly 70,000 Comcast employees, families and friends at more than 659 project sites spanning 39 states and Washington, D.C. Comcast Cares Day projects included rehabilitating public parks, planting sustainable food gardens, cleaning up schools and more. Since our first Comcast Cares Day we have now volunteered at more than 4,000 projects and delivered more than two million hours of service.

The next Comcast cares Day is April 21, 2012.
