The Comcast Foundation

Here's how it happened.

As we grew, so did our community focus. We established the Comcast Foundation in June 1999, and since then, we’ve given more than $64 million to the highest-quality non-profit organizations in Comcast communities nationwide.

Here's our vision. We provide financial support to the organizations that make our communities stronger. We’re most excited by literacy, volunteerism, and youth leadership programs. We also established the Comcast Leaders and Achievers® Scholarship Program for outstanding youth in our communities, recognizing them for their achievements by helping them pay for a college education, thereby enabling them to reach their full potential.

And here's how we get it done.

We’re intent on finding organizations and programs that can show that they really do make a difference. (In other words: we’re all about results.) To identify those meaningful programs, we do what we do best: get local. We work with community leaders and local management teams to help us zero in on the most fantastic and deserving groups.
