Register your mobile phone number in your account to get alerts about your Xfinity account, even when you're away from home.

Register your mobile phone numbers for text alerts
Each user can add or change a mobile phone number on the account. To add a mobile phone number:
- Go to Account and identity and sign in to your Xfinity account.
- Under Your Information, choose Account Communications.
- Choose Add mobile number under Contact methods if you do not already have a phone number listed.
- Note: If you already have a mobile phone number on your account and want to change it, look under Contact methods. Choose your mobile number and then choose Change mobile number to edit.
- You will be asked to verify your identity. You can choose one of two ways:
- Tap a notification in the Xfinity app.
- Enter a code sent through email or text.
- Confirm you are the one trying to change by tapping the notification in the Xfinity app or entering the code.
- Enter the mobile phone number in the box and choose Continue.
- You will see a message that asks you to verify your mobile phone.
- Check for a text message from 266-278.
- Enter the verification code on the website and choose Verify to save the mobile phone number to your account.
- You get confirmation that your mobile phone number was added or changed.
