Justin B. Smith |
Justin Smith serves as Vice President, Chief Transaction Compliance Officer and FCC Ombudsman for Comcast Corporation. In this role, he is responsible for Comcast Corporation’s compliance with governmental and third party conditions and commitments arising out of the Comcast-NBCUniversal joint venture transaction.
Mr. Smith previously served as Senior Vice President of Legal Affairs for Comcast Programming Group where he oversaw all legal matters for Comcast programming and affiliated programming networks that included E! Entertainment, Style, G4, Golf Channel, VERSUS, TV One, PBS KIDS Sprout, and a variety of regional sports network investments and other businesses. Prior to joining Comcast, Mr. Smith served in the Golf Channel's legal department for nine years, most recently as Vice President of Legal Affairs and General Counsel.
Mr. Smith received his law degree from the Marshall Wythe School of Law at The College of William and Mary and a BA in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia. He resides in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania.
