United Way's mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities. United Way focuses on the three key building blocks of education, income and health.
We are proud to be a national local partner with United Way and a member of its National Corporate Leadership program—United Way's premier program for corporate supporters. Comcast’s strategic partnership helps bring tremendous visibility to United Way's mission, raise necessary dollars to effectively address issues specific to local Comcast communities, and motivate employees to volunteer with local non-profit organizations.
Contributions from the Heart
Comcast is one of the first companies to conduct a company-wide United Way giving campaign simultaneously across the country. Since 2001, Comcast employees, along with the Comcast Foundation, have contributed nearly $25 million to United Way. Comcast's contributions have benefited thousands of local United Way chapters by providing more resources to effectively address needs in the communities in which our employees live and work. We also provide airtime for public service announcements to bring increased awareness to United Way’s mission, and to thank Comcast employees for their generosity.
