Building Tomorrow's Leaders

Today’s Youth, Tomorrow’s Leaders

Today’s teenagers volunteering in their community could include tomorrow’s CEO, four-star general or even president. And we want to help them get there.

Comcast supports organizations that inspire young people to lead. For example, teams of City Year corps members support students by focusing on attendance, behavior and course performance through in-class tutoring, mentoring and after-school programs that keep kids in school and on track to graduate. City Year, our largest national community partner, recruits more than 2,000 young people annually for a year of full-time community service.

We believe that community service is a critical element of leadership. Through our Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program, we recognize graduating seniors who not only excel in the classroom, but who also give back to their communities.

In addition, Comcast supports internships that provide leadership development opportunities for dozens of multi-cultural students every year, particularly through our partnerships with the Emma L. Bowen Foundation and the T. Howard Foundation.
